Crafting is the most amazing thing; it is my hobby.

I craft when I'm happy or sad, its just something I love and good at.
But the most amazing thing I love to see is seeing my crafts being used on necklaces, charms, jewelry, and being worn. :)
This is a necklace my friend Sanja made, she made the necklace out of paper beads, and she finished it with a ice cream charm made by me.

I have a little box full of ribbons, I used it to make bows. Well not today. Today I thought I'd make headbands. I turned a regular plastic headband to a gorgeous headband for a little girl. I wrapped it up with ribbon and added a ribbon flower to it.

This summer I entered a contest in my Online School Isucceedvhs. It was a contest to show how you spend your extra time by going to online school, like how I spend the time on things I enjoy. So I entered a Video of my jewelry, and a video of my photo editing. In June I got a call from the school saying my video made it Top #1 and I won the grand prize I had so much to chose from, but the PS3 caught my eye haha. Here it is.

3 In 1 Necklace!

So I got this Idea from the Paper Bead Blog. (click here to go to site)
Its a long necklace that can be made into a bracelet, or 2 necklaces style. If you use elastic like Janice did in her blog, you can see that you can use it as a head band also.
On mine I didn't use elastic, so its a 3 in one Necklace.

Try making one yourself today. You don't have to use paper beads you can use what ever you like. ;)

It has little dark green mixed with light green paper bead space beads.

So yesterday I received my beads from the paper bead trade I did and many other ladies from www.paperbeads.org. I couldn't think of what to make. The beads I received are paper beads from other people, I made mine and other people received mine. It is very exciting using the paper beads that others made. Took me a a while until I just started string some beads on wire, this is what I came up with.

Heres me wearing my new jewelry I made from the paper bead trade beads. I hope there's another bead trade, because It was very exciting for me to do.

I will update this post when I get pictures of the rest of the beads.

Finally. I got a bead roller that my dad made me that makes my paper bead holes small enough to stay on a head pin. I can't stop using it now. :) He did make me one before but thats to make bigger holes on the bead.

Here Is how it looks. My dad made the bead roller part then put it on a pen so I can have a handle.

See that little cut that is so I can slide in the paper so its easier to roll tight.

Summer necklaces

I've been thinking of summer necklaces to make I'm still thinking of more but here's one of my Favorites, That I made.

I call it Eye candy cause of the popping colors, and the colors look like well you know CANDY.

The beads are paper beads, and I made the ice cream out of polymer clay.

My second necklace I made, is called Love spell for those summer nights.

Also has matching earrings to go with the necklaces, maybe perfect for that lovely black dress we all love to wear. It also has paper beads, its mixed with glass beads too.

This was a special order I made for my moms work owner. I had so much fun making it, yet at first I struggled on how I should make it. In the end I felt great on how it turned out.

Here it is hanging on the angel. It has black and white Paper beads, with some silver plastic beads, and a glass heart pendant in the middle.

So after playing around with the silicone, and charms, I bought some colorful, and plain hair clips. I wanted to add on to them to make them fun. So I put some charms on and some silicone. This is how they turned out.

I've seen some tutorials on silicone deco cases, and deco jewelry boxes. So I wanted to try it out on my phone (cause my phone was way to boring =]). So this is how my Phone turned out. Though it was suppose to be on a case, but I didn't have one.

Now here's the not so boring cell phone turned to an, awesome cell phone =].

This is the back of the cell phone, the whip cream is made from silicone. I made the polymer clay charms, the other charms are ones I had bought.

So finally I got my camera, and I also bought more findings and all sorts of things. I bought liquid sculpey and I wanted to start practicing using the stuff. I know it makes good icing and lots of other stuff. I also bought some earring findings to make stud earrings. This is what I have made.

Charm bracelets

I went to the craft store and bought some bracelet chains, I also bought a packet of charms and used some beads I hade to make some beautiful charm bracelets I made 2 and they came out great don't you think?

This is a smile now cry later charm in the midle, I decorated it with a lot of blue glass beads I had and some key charms.

Finally! I've finally got some polymer clay. I was so excited I couldn't stop making little charms. I didn't have much money for the sculpey 111, so for now I'm practicing with Sculpey bake shop. Wire and hemp

I've been learning how to make hemp jewelry lately, and now I've been getting the hang of it. I used my paper beads on them, I got the idea from www.paperbeads.org and with the help of youtube on how to do the knots. I'm gonna make some unique hemp necklaces later since I got the hang of it now. Here is what I have made.

This last one is a wire bracelet I made with paper beads. Took forever but the end result was beautiful.

Earrings

So today I was thinking of some ideas for earrings. I wanted the paper bead ones to look wearable, and I made some other unique ones to. I really want to work with polymers clay now, but I'll have to wait on that later.
Here are the earrings.

Here I used purls and some blue bicone beads.

This next one is for St. Patrick's day since its coming up.

I also made a pair with small bicone crystals these ones are my fav.

I ended up liking how those turned out so I made another pair but different.

And last is the black paper beads with purls.

Thinking of new ideas

I haven't been making much, I did finish a Mario crochet plushie. I made it for my fiance it was his birthday on February 25th. I'm still working on some beads, but I want to do more. I want to make more with the beads than just jewelry. I've also been wanting to scrapbooks so I've been taking pictures so I can later edit and develop. I'm also thinking of making photo editing tutorials, and maybe some craft ones. I want to think of more crafty things you can do with things around the house. Lately I've been trying to find a job too. Its been hard, but I know I'll soon find one.
Last week My fiance and I went to Baker city,Oregon. We went there for a little event the ride there was more fun we think than the event. The mountains looked beautiful.
I'm thinking this week or the next to start blogging some more. I'll probably start off with some photo editing tutorials, or paper crafts. Or just showing you guys some ideas. Tell me what you think would be some fun ideas for some crafts.

February 2010 Paper bead Jewelry

So, I've been thinking of new ideas to make with the paper beads, simple and beautiful. Here is what I've came up with now. Enjoy, please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

This here is a green paper bead necklace with purls in between, and a cross/bling charm. And a matching stretch bracelet to go with.

This next one is a Rosary stretch bracelet. Though I'm not in the catholic religion , it was a suggested to be made. Its made with purple plaid paper beads, and some silver spacer beads, and a charmed cross.

This next one is a charm bracelet made with purple plaid paper beads.

Here Is another charm bracelet I would call it a Autumn charm bracelet cause of the sunset colors of autumn leaves as the paper beads, and the golden leaf charm.

This next one is a boy/girl necklace with a mushroom charm in the middle, very simple, and wearable with any day outfit.

Here are some orange yellow bracelets, with little barrel shaped paper beads in between the big crystal like beads.

This is a shell necklace and bracelet made with paper beads and shells in between.

And last is some packets of do it you self bracelets, for girls teens or moms to make on there own.

My number one goal

To become a Photographer/photo editor, is my number one goal. I have always like taking pictures and editing. I've been practicing. I may not be so perfessional at it yet, but I sure believe I will be. Nathan has motivated me to not give up on my dreams. With out his motivation I would have given up. I've been making youtube videos on my photo editing. So far I have 3 videos up. 1 has 5 stars and the other has a 4 star rating! That got me excited. So here I want to show you pictures I have edit, or token.
here is a picture of my guitar I got.

This next picture is of my shoes and I had to do something for my photography class, I had to cartoonify it.

This right here is a picture I edited of my self It was meant to look dramatic.

This right here is A picture i found on google of teeth and i then whitened the teeth up can you see the difference?

Tattoo removal is hard, especially when editing it.Both google pictures but i edited them making there tattoos get removed.

Next is some celebraty with out make up and I did a glow effect on her and changed some colors a bit.

Things I've crochet.

Lately I haven't done nothing, but make beads beads, and well more beads. So I thought I'd post pictures of things I have crochet. I have been Crocheting for about almost half a year now I believe. I enjoy making baby clothes, and crocheting silly stuff. I've recently been crocheting a Mario doll. I sure can't wait till that's done. One goal in crocheting I have is to learn how to make my own patterns, so I can share it with everyone. Here are some things I've crocheted.

How to make Beautiful Colorful Paper beads.

For those who would love to know how to make paper beads. Here's how!
You will need

Scissors
paper at least 12inches long, in this case I'm using scrapbook paper
Glue stick
ruler
toothpicks
diamond glaze glue or collage pauge instant decoupage
and card board box or Styrofoam to stick the toothpicks in so beads can dry while glazing.

First take you paper scissors and ruler

Then on your paper make marks of half an inch...(if you want longer beads make your marks an inch, for spacer beads mark 1/4 of an inch) Then connect them so they form a triangle like this:

Then cut out your triangle strips:

After you have cut your strips of paper, grab your tooth pick and start to roll one of the triangle pieces tightly on to the toothpick. Make sure to leave 1 inch of the paper unrolled.

Next take your glue stick and rub some glue at the tip of the triangle (last inch that was not rolled), and then roll it on. Here are how the beads look like.

For a glass like finish add some of the Diamond glaze, or Collage Pauge on the beads and let them dry on the tooth picks.You can stick the toothpicks onto a Styrofoam box or cardboard box so the glaze can dry.

Lately I've been taking a break from crocheting and editing photos. About a month ago I discovered paper beads! I was just searching on google and youtube for beading tips, Because my Fiance's mom gave me a huge load of beads. I didn't know what to make with them. Then as I was searching for beading tips, and ideas, I came across paper beads. Here is the website Here . After looking at all the wonderful jewelry made from paper beads, and regular beads I got inspired to make my own. Janice from the site also wrote an article about me on her page you can view that Here... Here is what I came up with

This Right here is paper bead bracelet made with black
beads and silver beads in between.

Here is a closer look at the bracelet. This one my moms friend ordered from me.

I used scrapbooking paper with these beads. I named it Candy bracelet since the colorful paper beads remind me of candy.

You cant have a bracelet with out matching earings ;)

This one is made for a 7 year old girl.

This next one was made for my mothers friends mom. Its her welcome present for becoming a grandmother! Congrats. Its a bluish tortoise color.

Can you believe that these beautiful jewelry are made from paper beads?!
